On “On the Structure of Contemporary Japanese Aesthetics”

I have been waiting for inspiration to strike before finally making a first entry on this blog, but I can think of no greater place to begin than by giving a slow clap to Rea Amit of Yale, whose On the Structure of Contemporary Japanese Aesthetics somehow managed to convince Roger Ames and the board of Philosophy East and West to include an illustration of an anime character with ahoge.
