UH Press, publisher of many fine books on Japanese philosophy, has announced a sale for “Cyber-Monday.” All titles in stock are 40% off! For example, if you don’t already have the Japanese Philosophy: A Sourcebook, be sure to pick it up at $14 off the regular price. Also think about checking out The Japanese Ethos: A Study of National Character by Yasuoka Masahiro. I can’t say I agree with the whole book, but I translated two chapters in it and definitely found it thought provoking. It’s only just been published this month, so it probably won’t go on sale again until they get low on stock and want to clear it out.
Hurry, the sale ends at midnight HST.
Hat tip to Bill Ridgeway and David Ashworth.
